The 2023 Hyundai Nexo has a unique powertrain. It has a hydrogen-fuel cell electric powertrain that uses hydrogen to power its electric motors. The setup means you don't have to plug the vehicle in to charge it. You do need to refuel with hydrogen gas, but the fill-up time is much quicker than with standard fuel. You can expect to be done in just five minutes. You can expect to drive 380 miles per tank for the Blue trim level, which is focused on improving efficiency. The Limited trim can go 354 miles per tank. 

The fuel cell stack is 95-kW, and it is connected to a 40-kWh battery pack to power an electric motor. That motor puts out 161 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard across trim levels, and all-wheel drive is not available. What you'll notice with the 2023 Nexo is that it drives smoothly and efficiently, giving you the get up and go that you need for daily drives and casual weekend jaunts. 

Fuel Economy and MPGe

Thanks to the advanced technology featured on the 2023 Hyundai, it offers excellent fuel efficiency. The Blue trim level gets a combined rating of 61 mpg (broken down to 65 mpg in the city and 58 mpg on the highway). Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

The 2023 Hyundai Nexo is well-equipped with safety features that provide extra protection on the road.
